Pulau Tioman, Malaysia

4d3n Sailing Holiday • beginner

Among the most popular islands out of 64 islands on the eastern coast of Peninsular Malaysia, Pulau Tioman is especially well-known as a diving and snorkeling paradise due to its rich and healthy marine life, pristine waters and scenic sandy beaches fringed with lush tropical rainforests.

Other than being voted by Time magazine as one of the 10 most beautiful islands in the world, Pulau Tioman also boasts of a tranquil and relaxed atmosphere, with friendly and hospitable locals who are used to serving travelers from all over the world, especially many Singaporeans who flock to Pulau Tioman to complete their PADI Dive Courses due to its close proximity, low fees to obtain the license and its beautiful underwater life.

The locals at Pulau Tioman are also all very protective of their beautiful island and its underwater habitats, taking great care in ensuring the environment remains untouched and that tourism remains eco-conscious and sustainable.
