ROLE: ASSISTANT YACHT SKIPPER (FULL-TIME)

As an Assistant Skipper, you will be responsible and accountable for the following duties:

A) General Yacht Operations & Maintenance

  1. Ensure safe navigation and operation of our yachts Ximula and Gracefully.

  2. Ensure our yachts and equipment are clean, well-maintained and always in tip-top, charter-ready condition.

  3. Maintain inventory of working tools, spare parts, supplies and other items onboard.

B) Charter Operations

  1. Ensure that the yacht is clean and ready before arrival of guests.

  2. Ensure the safety of all guests on board.

  3. Provide a smooth, safe and memorable charter experience for all guests onboard.

  4. Wash and clean up the yacht after the end of every charter.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications & Experience

  • Must be at least 18 years old

  • Previous working experience in the service / hospitality / events / yachting industry is preferred

  • Any boating / sailing experience is a plus

  • Any technical / engineering knowledge is a plus

  • Powered Pleasure Craft Driving License (PPCDL) is a plus

  • Singaporean/PR only

Personality

  • Love the outdoors and can work tirelessly under rain or shine (or haze)

  • Physically fit and strong enough to carry kayaks or dead-drunk fellas

  • Energetic, sociable and engaging; able to connect well with strangers from adults to little children

  • Service-oriented; have a keen eye for anticipating & understanding guests’ interests

  • Responsible, dependable and takes ownership of his/her duties

  • Self-motivated and proactive

  • Resourceful and solutions-oriented; able to address problems quickly with sustainable and scalable solutions

Availability

  • Available to start immediately

  • Able to work 6 days a week, including weekends and public holidays

ROLE: YACHT CREW (FULL-TIME)

As a Yacht Crew, you will be responsible and accountable for the following duties:

A) General Yacht Operations & Maintenance

  1. Assist the Chief Engineer to ensure our yachts and equipment are clean, well-maintained and always in tip-top, charter-ready condition.

B) Charter Operations

  1. Ensure that the yacht is clean and ready before arrival of guests.

  2. Assist the Skipper to ensure the safety of all guests on board.

  3. Assist the Skipper to provide a smooth, safe and memorable charter experience for all guests onboard.

  4. Wash and clean up the yacht after the end of every charter.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be at least 18 years old

  • Must have at least an Open Water Diver License or equivalent

  • Any experience in the service / hospitality / events industry is a plus

  • Any boating / sailing experience is a plus
